With ELOspeed, it is possible to automatically reduce the driving speed of forklift trucks entering an indoor area without the driver having to forego the maximum possible speed in the outdoor area.

Here, ELOspeed monitors and detects superstructures (such as the hall roof) vertically above the forklift truck. This enables ELOspeed to adjust the speed of the industrial truck. And all fully automatically.

The detection range of the radar sensor extends from 2 to a maximum distance of 24 meters above the installed sensor. It shines vertically upwards above the vehicle. As long as the sensor does not detect any obstructions, it is possible to drive at maximum speed. If an object, such as a hall roof, is detected, ELOspeed reduces the speed of the industrial truck to the desired speed on request. When the vehicle returns to the outside area, it can accelerate back up to its maximum speed.
