Description

With ELOspeed, it is possible to automatically reduce the driving speed of forklift trucks entering an indoor area without the driver having to forego the maximum possible speed outside.
ELOspeed monitors and detects structures (such as the roof of the hall) vertically above the forklift truck. This allows ELOspeed to adjust the speed of the industrial truck. And all of this is fully automatic.
The radar sensor's detection range extends from 2 to a maximum distance of 24 meters above the installed sensor. This beams vertically upwards above the vehicle. As long as the sensor does not detect any overbuilding, driving at maximum speed is possible. If an object, such as a hall roof, is detected, ELOspeed reduces the speed of the industrial truck (FFZ) to the desired speed on request. When the vehicle returns to the outside area, it can accelerate back to maximum speed.
